4 Months

So, Hayden is now closer to 5 months than 4 months, but I still want to do the post. I took him in for his 4 month check up and shots before we left and he has grown a ton.

Stats for 4 months:

Weight: 17 lbs 13 oz (6 lbs 10.5 oz at birth)
Length: 25 3/4 inches (20 inches at birth)

He received 2 shots and an oral vaccination and did really well for a little guy. We just love our Family Med doctor and we are super sad to say goodbye, but he has family in Knoxville and will get some referrals for us.

Hayden is really trying to sit and he has rolled over a few times, but does not seem to have much interest in it...only laying on his side. He loves playing in the exersaucer (and standing!) and he talks to us quite a bit. He really plays with toys on his car seat or play mat much more than Taryne did...she didn't seem to have much interest in them but he LOVES them. Hayden absolutely loves looking around and being part of the group. He often gets fussy if he is laying down but if you sit him up or place him in the exersaucer, he quickly gets happy and full of giggles. He has learned to blow bubbles and is a little motor boat.

Taryne loves talking to and playing with Hayden. She is often holding his hand and giving him hugs. I just love watching them interact. He smiles when he sees her sit close. :)
