Sam Houston

Last Sunday, we spent the afternoon in Huntsville visiting Charlotte and Zach. It was sort of a sad day for me because Charlotte and Zach were about to move to the Dallas area. So this was our last trip to visit them in Huntsville.

So after lunch, we visited the Sam Houston monument just outside of town. Charlotte and Zach have tons of pictures from the monument over the past 6 years, but we have never actually stopped.

We ended the afternoon by playing with their kitties, Chloe and Peach. Taryne just loved playing with the kitties!

Taryne must have somehow known that they were moving a little further away. All week she has been walking around saying "Charlotte" "Zach" over and over again. Maybe she sensed my sadness. After having them so close the past 6 years, we will have to adjust to them being 3 hours away. I know that is not that far, but they just can't "pop" over one evening.
